In 2017 Doing Things Differently joined forces with Bristol Festival of Puppetry to present shows, talks and labs that explored equality and diversity, in and through puppetry.
At the centre of the festival was Interchange, a place to play with new forms of puppetry, with creative access at the heart. Interchange was presented by partners from Doing Things Differently (Diverse City & Bristol City Council), Guerilla Dance Project, Blind Summit, Openup Music and Hijinx.
Interchange focused on and questioned how effectively the ancient craft of puppetry reflects the diversity of our world.
